You're misunderstanding what I'm trying to say. I'm not saying that the hype was unwarranted... I loved to see all the positive energy, I liked the interview with Gov. Blanco, etc. But after 2, 3 hours I couldn't take it anymore. It's all they were talking about, to the point where it seemed insincere and like they were reaching because they wanted to create drama. They didn't need to create a thing... it was already there. The bad drama has been with the city of New Orleans unfortunately for over a year and it's not going away anytime soon. We knew that before the game. But the positive energy came naturally... you can't force that kind of thing to happen. That's what made the game so special. But the oversaturation from the ESPN crew almost ruined that. Fortunately, you almost can't ruin something like that. But ESPN gave it their best shot.

thats just what espn does... It was still a breath of fresh air compared to favre or TO stories though, espn likes those stories a whole lot better

Did Crumpler put on weight this year? He looks like a big fat ***. I have him on my fantasy team, but I've been starting LJ Smith instead... because Vick only completes like 10 friggin passes a game. Meanwhile, McNabb's throwing the ball all over the place.

i cant believe the Saints offense is working so well when Sean Payton is their head coach.

i loved this game... it was like they showed up to win and wouldn't take anything less. I couldn't believe how they just wouldn't let the Falcons get into the game.
