Coming from ahead to choke.
Coming from ahead to choke.
Good? Good teams don't struggle against bottom feeders and then blow big leads against division champions.
I have to agrre that we're not inconsistent - we've proven, so far, that we consitently struggle to win.
[/b]
Right 4-2 right now, our QB just throwing his first pick today, 3 TDs for Holt and Bulger, over 150 yards by Holt and we suck.
Obviously we'll struggle to beat the defending NFC Champs, and they beat us last second with a 54 yard field goal.
It wasn't exactly a big lead, it was two touchdowns, and Travis Fisher is garbage and Fakhir Brown was out.
We should just start Jerametrius Butler and Fakhir Brown, with Hill as 3rd string and Fisher cut.

Oh yes, stats makes us good.
Then talk about how close it was. And don't tell me that if we had won by 14, you wouldn't say it was only 2 scores, you'd say we kicked their ***.
Now start talking about the players we didn't have playing while ignoring the fact that the Squawks were without their star offensive player and still rolled us up.
All we had to do to win was stop the opposition from getting in FG range with 1:44 left and we didn't do it.

54 yards is hardly field goal range.
They've managed to win 5 games basically without Shaun Alexander, what difference does it make whether he's in or out?

His long is 58 so 54 is in his "range". The fact that he made it easily is proof that it is in his range. That's why the Rams are supposed to have scouting reports, so that they know what a kicker's range is.
I also like how the Rams have "found ways to win" like it's some epic struggle like Guadal Canal, Okinawa or Iwo Jima but Seattle has "managed to win" as if they get credit for wins they don't really deserve.

I never said they don't deserve credit, I said that they don't need Alexander to win, and they've proven it.
Obviously they know his range and obviously they tried their best to keep them back, why the hell would they let up and let them have yards?

yup we got beat by the 49ers but yet you you still wont even sniff the playoffs for a loooooooong time

i'm not worried, we'll get there my friend sooner then you think, especially if the rams are the team that the niners have to be worried about. besides over the past 25 years we've been there so many times compared to the rams that if the playoffs were a magic marker we'd still be high.
