Default Eager Norwegian student looking for some tips

Hello all, I'm a Norwegian student who happens to have a keen interest in the game of football(not soccer).
Unfortunately i live in Norway, which is not exactly the most footballcrazed country.

Anyways, me and some friends have been tossing around with an old and flimsy ball and i'm in the mood to purchase a better one. Basically, im still in the process of mastering a good pitch with the right spin etc., and so I was wondering which ball i should pick up.

Should i go for a plain official Wilson ball, or something like the "Street Pro Spiral Junior Football" since im still in early stages of learning.

And do you know of any websites that sell these balls?
I've been to the NFL Shops but they charge 24$ for shipping to Norway which is a bit steep. I'm certain there are cheaper alternatives.

Regards,
Oystein Husby.

A great beginner football for me was any nerf footballs. I don't know where you could purchase some online. I would type nerf footballs in any search, and maybe you could have some luck!

They seem kind of childish, no?
The ball i'm going for should be close to "normal"(an official ball), but maybe with slightly different properties(shape, coating etc) which would more easily learn me the technique.

What i have now is - as mentioned earlier - an old ball in poor condition, and the main problem being very little grip. Thus, it is quite hard to grasp and throw it correct.

If this is not the right place to ask, maybe someone can point me in the right direction.

Thanks,
Oystein Husby.

Just about all footballs are pretty good brand new. Wilson, Nike, all will probably do the trick. By the way. Welcome to the forum!

Yeah, get a Wilson or a Nike. Nike Spiral-Tech balls are pretty good.
