Don't get ahead of yourself, kid. And for sure, don't believe any of the head swellin hype you're gettin fed... Just keep your head down, keep bringin your lunch pail, and be a team player. "Star" atheletes in highschool are a dime a dozen. 'Specially runningbacks. Because of the lack of QB developement, most schools run far more than they throw. You may feel like a big fish in a small pool, but when and if you hit the next level, you'll be just another back. Keep workin hard, keep a positive TEAM attitude and you'll go further. Also, never be your own press agent. If you have to tell someone you're a star, then you ain't. Let others hype you up. Phrases like "I just love to play" or "Whatever helps the team win, GO______!" are better than "Gimme the damn ball".
Who am I? A highschool and semi-pro football coach. Been there, done that, got the scars... Just a little free advice, son. Don't take it personal.
