I tried to post this in the introductions section but it would not come online---so here is a bit of background. I watched NFL football from some time in the early to mid-1950s off and on until I left Canada in 1971. In Australia I see it very occasionally. I saw this site and joined it out of nostalgia, especially for the Browns. For some reason that I don't recall now, my favorite teams were in Cleveland. Maybe its because they won the World Series in 1954 when I was 9. That is just a guess.-Ron Price, Tasmania

I have been married for 41 years. My wife is a Tasmanian, aged 60. We’ve had 3 children: ages in 2007-41, 37 and 30. I am 63, a Canadian who moved to Australia in 1971 and have written 3 books--all available on the internet. I retired from full-time teaching in 1999, part-time teaching in 2004 and volunteer/casual teaching/work in 2005 after 35 years in classrooms.
