alright, so a week ago the monitor went all fukky on me...notise i kannot use the 'see' or 'eks' buttons, they don't work, nor do the shift, kaps lokk, siks on the keypad, tab, etsetera...

well the monitor had the skreen 's'entered up and to the right, so we tried to fiks it by using the buttons on the monitor, it got better but never quite right. now, i kan't use the aforementioned keys...what is happening to my komputer 'question mark'

i ran it through virus skan and nothin kame up either...forgive the k's and s's...

Not sure about your monitor, but you need a new keyboard. Have you spilled something on it? (Insert dirty joke here)

We are on our second keyboard and even on this one the shift key stopped working. The last one, the keys were dropping like flies and we finally replaced it.

You should have and on-screen keyboard in the Accessories list. You can use that to fill in the blanks..

Pull the keyboard apart and try cleaning it.

It's not difficult, but can be tedious and you'd want some kind of reference as to where the keys go when you're fitting it all back together.

Considering C and X are neighboring keys, I have a strong belief it'll work, but it's also entirely possible that one of the pathways on the "mat" inside is FUBAR.

If you got more time than money, try cleaning it. Otherwise, you could do like Cap suggested and buy a new one. Those are really the only two ways I see around the situtation
