If you're booting to a hard drive that already has Windows installed from another system, you're going to get blue screens. You'll want to either boot into safe mode and uninstall the motherboard drivers (less effective method) or clean install (for best stability). With improper motherboard drivers, lots of functions will cause problems, even common ones such as accessing the RAM, transfering to the hard drives, etc.
If you bought it online for that price, it is most likely an OEM buy, meaning it's just the drive, not a retail package, which would include the box, manual, cable and any software utilities they provide.
