So i got this virus on my computer that I cant get rid of. All it does is make pop ups come up every so often but its friggin annoying. My Norton Antivirus stops it whenever it trys anything but it fails to delete or quarantine it. I have the exact location of the file and tried to delete it manually, but access is always denied. Anyone know of a way I can get rid of this son of a *****??

Start up your machine and continuously press the F8 button until you come to a prompting screen that gives you different OS functionality choices. Safe Mode is one of the choices.
So safe mode didn't work. I restored my computer to a couple months ago too and that didn't work. Norton is stopping it from doing anything.. but the damn "you got a virus" alert gets old after like the 12th time everyday.. I try to delete it manually but it says access is denied because another person or program is using it? Any other thoughts on how to get rid of it??
