So, I'm probably gonna go out and get a wireless router this weekend, I dont want any internet safe crap, and what I do want is my speed to be not affected by the router as much as possible. I've used a wired netsafe router before and it slows **** down way too much for my liking.

if my laptop has that wi-fi **** where it picks up wireless networks, do I need to buy a card or whatever for it once I get my wireless router set up? No right?

Dude I just got this wireless router with my laptop. I don't need it so I was going to sell it on ebay. It's supposed to be 60 bucks at CC. I'll sell it to you for half price if you want. I had to use the UPC symbol for the rebate. Don't know if that matters to you or not. I haven't opened the box.

Answer to your question is no. If its the same thing my laptop has. I just flicked the switch and instantly had internet access.

I've got a linksys modem and im gonna try and get a linksys router because it seems like you benefit a little from having the same product, and I'm willing to go the extra $40 or whatever for optimum performance
