So I found out that the song is on my Ipod, but I have to scroll through all the songs to get to them. If I go to artist and then click on it though it's not there.
Does this help anyone solve my problem.

probably not registered through itunes to that artist. look at the song in itunes does it have the artist listed?
It probably has something to do with the Name of the song.
If you use Windows Media Player, and go into library, you notice some songs don't show an artist's name or just stuff the artists name into the column where it says "Band Name"
Edit each song, in WMP, or Itunes (I've never used it so I don't know), to say the Band's name in the "Artists Name" column and each Song's name to be in the "Song Name" column, then you import it.
