Pretty much I imported a lot of my CD's onto my Itunes so I could put them on my Ipod. But if I have an artist who I owned both a burned and nonburned (store bought) CD, only the unburned CD shows up on my Ipod.
For example I have the burned copy of the new Taking Back Sunday and I also had bought their prior 2 CDs. The new, burned CD does not show up on my Ipod, but it does on my Itunes still.
Why when I click update Ipod is it not recognizing these burned CDs?
I have other CDs that are just plain burned ones and they were picked up fine as long as I don't have multiple CDs with some being not burned.
It makes no sense to me.

I would say your right but the burned CD was on my Ipod until the unburned one was added. After that it disappeared. Also CD's that are burned but don't have an unburned one by the same artist still show up.
