I've tried almost everything and I need help. These friggin pop-ups are driving me insane!!!! I've ran Crap Cleaner, hijackthis, and spybot. Nothing is helping. The pop-ups are coming 2-4 at a time and they don't stop. It's frustrating as hell. On top of that I could be viewing a page and it all of a sudden switches to http://www.findthewebsiteyouneed.com/. Not only that but it keeps setting that website as my home page!!! I'm going insane. NEED HELP!!!!

This folder holds many viruses so deleting the temp files often is a must. Also, get AVG's free virus scanner. You might even have to ctr-alt-del to stop some processes to remove the program/s that are causing the popups.

There is no fix-all. Certain problems have specific fixes. These *******s that make this spam crap learn how to get around anti-whatevers, so you need to be able to identify the issue.

I suggest you download ewido 4 and see what it displays for errors. Also hijackthis is a good small app that will tell you what is loading. You can sniff around for hidden startups manually too, but if you knew how to do that, then you wouldnt be asking for help.
