So yeah I was researching some stuff for a paper on Saturday, and I go to open a PDF document and the browser crashes. I tried ctrl+alt+del but no response, so I turned the computer off and cold booted it, but when I tried opening firefox again it just gave me the hourglass thing for a split second and did nothing. I kept clickin it like 50 times and still nothing. So I uninstall, reinstall, rinse wash repeat still nada. Even when I try it today it doesn't work.

Any ideas? (don't even say it, i use limewire for that)

no opera's different, and rather strange. I really didn't want to deal with IE's crap while researching, that's where I put all the useless crap like yahoo toolbar and stuff.

You're still an idiot though.

maybe go into your registry and delete everything that says firefox/mozilla.

start-->run-->regedit

edit: if you don't know how to get to the registry editor, it's probably better you don't mess w/ it

you can funk up your system to where it doesn't boot
