I recently upgraded to Vista Home Premium on my new Laptop, and whenever I come here, the screen will go black, and the taskbar, and title bars will all go from the new Aero thing where they're somewhat transparent to a basic version. I was wondering what could be causing this.
The Aero setting of the Visual settings allows for some of the new features you might see on screenshots, you can preview the program running by highlighting it on the taskbar. As soon as I close out the IE session that had visited NFL-Fans, it will return to the Aero setting.
Any help would be appreciated.

Don't ask for help for on nfl-fans? You'll just get smark comments and generally people saying things that don't help at all :P
jk, if I were you, I'd try reinstalling your java runtime. Also, try using a different browser to see if its IE7 specific.

Firefox works fine with Fans, as does older versions of IE, but I noticed that IE7 does that with Vista Ultimate on here, as well as with a few other sites.
I say that Microsoft finally made a program that has compatability issues with it's own OS

most of the problems people are having with vista are because they upgraded instead of running a clean install. I have it running on an old box with modest specs and it runs just fine. (not going to use it on my primary box for a while). I don't really have a lot of use for the aero interface, I've actually toned down a lot of the vista features because I thought they were kind of obnoxious. I have been using the new office suite quite a bit. i like it much more than office xp. I still couldn't justify a purchase of vista to anyone for at minimum a year.

I agree. I have Vista on a new laptop and it works fine. My old laptop is running XP. I wouldn't even attempt to run Vista on it.
