I just switched from cable to dsl, and now I'm having issues logging into some websites... like my school email and my stock account. Anybody have any ideas?

thats because it's high speed dial up ...not quite the same as cable...why'd you switch? dsl sucks!

There was an AT&T deal where they hooked us up with DSL, Dishnetwork, and phone service for a very reasonable price. And we don't use the comp for anything more then basic surfing and email so we didn't think it would be a problem.

But is there a reason why I am having trouble logging into websites? I've never had trouble accessing my school email before? Is there some way to fix it?

resetting the modem seems to have worked.
