Default So is this our permanent home?

Im just curious, is this the permanent home of NFL-Fans.com?

This place is nice and all, but to be honest...I miss alot of what NFL-Fans had going for it.

Specifically:

- Seperate AFC and NFC forums
- The Swimsuit forum
- The ability to call someone a **** eating ****tard without censorship or fear of reprimand
- The "routine"... ya know.. I knew what to expect, where to look, whos opinion to trust...

I miss the crowd at NFL-Fans.. I miss Pred and Mouse and DJ and Lego and Texans281 and all of the flaming idiots that supported the Ravens and Chargers and Colts and Patriots..

This just doesnt feel like home... NFL-Fans was such a huge source of information for me..I feel like I dont know what is going on around the league anymore.

I understand it is a different then you were used to but if yuo give it some time you should like it here.

We dont have AFC and NFC forums seperate but we have every team forum as well as a lot more. Theres also a hot pic thread that is sort of like the swimsuit thread.

Just give it a look and if yuo have any questions send me a PM or post here.

The lounge has all those places

http://www.footballforum.com/lounge/

Also, Mouse is a mod here and lego is here as well, I have had some political debates with him myself, you can call someone a $hit eating fuktard as long as you are not being malicious or abusive.

We have a great group of people here and as long as you are not being a cockgobbler then sidestepping the filter is not a bad thing.

You will also find that we have a VIP section that allows for a little more adult content

I see. Well its not a bad forum.. I guess its just that it was a forced change and I dont really see any of the old posters I used to keep an eye out for.

So.. have yall ever considered removing the team forums and just making an AFC and NFC forum? Not quite as flashy but it forces folks from different teams to talk and give opinions on everything that is happening within their division, rather than just with their team. I dont think im alone when I say that, if I just want to talk to fans of my team, I have other forums for doing that.

well that is what the nfl general and and nfl gameday are for really, if you want to talk football, members that post in the team forums go in there to talk about everything and their team forum for specific news and discussion. most of these people also check the nfl area too. It is a very trafficked forum. A lot is similar just laid out a bit differently and in different places, I know that you don't know as many people here if any at all, but there is good knowledge here and the only way to get to know people is to post. You are welcome to join in on the fun and great discussion, we also have points, rep, betting on vbookie events and looser areas to post in as well

Any questions, there are plenty out there to help

I'm sorry but I still think having individual team forums is pretty useless unless you have a ton of traffic from every team's fans to support such an idea. Given the traffic level here, I think having an AFC/NFC split would be sufficient and would encourage more discussion in that you'd be bringing together all the various teams fans into one conference forum as opposed to counting tumbleweeds in 32 different boards.

Instead of posting a thousand individual threads that nobody replies to about every little story, just put those in a official team thread. Then that clears the remainder of the board for discussion amongst members. A good official team thread covers all those stories and generates more discussion in a centralized location.

I've viewed all 32 team forums and I don't see the point. It's all well and good for you to make that post in good humor but it doesn't change anything. I guess if you want your website to be strictly a news source then it works well. But if you are truly interested in DISCUSSION then it fails. It's pretty telling that the imported NFL-Fans threads here completely dwarf your universe.

Take that as you will, I'm sure you take it as some attack on this board but it's really just a pretty honest piece of commentary. I think some people here are so stuck on the "take it or leave it" facade that they refuse to even consider ideas for improvement.
