Tim Rattay was unable to unseat the young and inexperienced Luke McCown last season as the #2 QB behind Chris Simms. Luke has shown great progress and athleticism in Gruden's offense. Rumors out of 1 Bucc Place say the Buccs brass is ecstatic over the progress of McCown. It's hard to imagine the Buccs will be happy paying $1.25 mil for a 3rd string QB. If Tim can't unseat McCown and move behind Simms on the depth chart look for Rattay to be submitting an address change card at the local post office.

Found the article, but it's insider content that can't be posted. But trust me when I tell you, McCown has impressed the Buccs staff to the point Rattay hasn't been able to over take the #2 spot so far.
Not too mention, Rattay lost his job to Alex Smith, and Smith sucks.

Smith doesn't suck he is just young and on a very bad team. Give him a chance to gain some expierence before you judge him.

He only lost his job because the fans wanted to see smith play.
