They will draft a DE or a LB before McNeil, and look for O-line in round 2.

What is with all the Mangold talk lately? If he was that good, wouldn't we have heard about him more than a week before the draft?

He is that good. The Center position never gets any glorification from the "draft experts." Look back at any good offensive line, and they almost always have a great Center.

That has been rumored, and would be fine with me. There also has been talk of drafting a DE at #23 then moving up into the beginning of round 2 to draft Lutui or Mangold. The positions of DE, LB, or O-line are all fine with me. We need an eventual replacement for Rice. Many think Lawson is that guy, do we trade up? We need a successor for Brooks. Many think Sims is that guy, will he be there at #23? Tampa has had a history of taking 2nd, 3rd, and 4th round defensive picks and making them good starters or even probowlers. We have failed miserably at drafting offensive talent until Jon Gruden and Bruce Allen's arrival. A lot of Buccs fans feel no pressure drafting defense later, but feel the need to draft impact offensive players early.

it's weird that you would want to draft sims, due to his history, I think 5 concussions in like 3 years, that don't seem too good for a guy in on a lot of tackles. either way I don't think he makes it 23, lawson maybe, but I heard that the vikes have an interest in him as well.

Well, I'll be totally honest with you....I don't consider myself a draft guru, and I don't get to watch much college football. I hadn't heard about Sims' concussion history. That's alarming. Thanks for the heads up, I'll have to look into that.

Excerpt
"He's short (5 feet 11) and he suffered a handful of concussions in college.
Last summer, he was involved in a domestic incident with his girlfriend, eventually pleading no contest to disorderly conduct and performing community service.
Sims has tried to reassure Cardinals officials that it was an isolated incident, not a sign of more trouble to come.
The concussions are a worry, too, given the way Sims plays. He admittedly tries to knock out opponents, a style that has attracted attention from scouts. But it also makes them worry that he'll spend too much time on injured reserve because of it."
