I thought that Hilliard is still a FA. Did he sign with the team? If so when?

hey no offense, I just didn't see the big deal. Keep the discussion about each guy seperate. Better flow to the conversation. I think anyway.

Zemaitis a self admitted Tampa Bay Buccaneers fan. Must be a dream come true for him. I'm happy for the kid. He has been discussed as a possible target for the Buccs for months now. This is truly one of our best picks. To us he was a steal at the 4th round. Like I said before, he may not be the best CB on th board, but he was the best fit for our team.

Yes, he did resign. If you want specifics, give me a few minutes.

This article dated March 20th

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers brought yet another one of their own free agents back for the 2006 season on Monday, re-signing wide receiver Ike Hilliard.

According to ProFootballTalk.com, Hilliard signed a four-year contract with the Bucs.

Hilliard, who turns 30 in April, ranked fourth on the team in receptions in his debut with the Bucs last season. Hilliard finished the 2005 regular season with 35 catches for 282 yards and one touchdown. He made his biggest impact on third downs, and caught 24 passes that resulted in first downs last season.

The 5-foot-11, 210-pound Hilliard is entering his 10th season in the NFL. He’s hauled in 403 career passes for 4,912 yards and 28 touchdowns since entering the league in 1997 as a first-round draft pick with the New York Giants.

Hilliard, who started two games in place of WR Michael Clayton in 2005, has played in 114 career regular season games (94 starts).

The Bucs had brought several receivers, including Marc Boerigter (Kansas City) and Kevin Johnson (Detroit) in for visits before inking Hilliard to a new contract.

Tampa Bay hasn’t been too active in terms of signing other teams’ big-name free agents, but it has re-signed several of its own free agents, including fullback Mike Alstott, kicker Matt Bryant, cornerback Juran Bolden, defensive tackle Chris Hovan and quarterback Chris Simms.

no offense taken, I was just merely making a simple suggestion, tone can be hard to determine on a forum and I try to be purely objective when approaching football. I am just a 29 year old married guy that lives a boring life and talks sports on here and fanball. It is all I do. LOL. cool brother.

Trueblood and Joseph played side by side in the senior bowl. They semed to have an instant chemistry playing together. Gruden loved what he saw from them at the senior bowl. We'll have to see how it shakes out. I honestly know little to nothing about trueblood. I have seen a highlight video of him playing LT last season at BC. He will be playing RT for us, where he will face a smaller contingent of speedy DE's.

Don't mention the c-word, we're not to fond of him. 2 DUI's I'm not happy they brought him back. Tampa is building a locker room full of high character stand up guys. After Warren's big mouth, and Keyshawn's attitude, I wlecome the new attitude on character players.
