I have two differences. Carr has upside. The other difference? 10 years.
Carr completed 68% of his passes! I dont care what his YPA was, 68% is pretty good IMO

Nice try. Pro Bowls are popularity contests. So maybe 49ers fans had nothing else better to do than sit in front of their computers on NFL.com.

I think any knowledgeable football fan knows Mike Vick sucks? Right? How many Pro Bowls does Mike Vick have?

Ok, sorry let me explain more...Jeff Garcia's 5 of his 7 years in the NFL have been pretty good.NFL.com - Jeff Garcia
Two of the seasons were more then 30 TD's.

Now heres David Carr's stats...NFL.com - David Carr
Yea I agree with you on that the Pro Bowl is a popularity contest but usually when people go to the Pro Bowl then they have had a pretty good year or better...Now dont get me wrong,David might have some good years in him on a different team...But no one knows UNTIL it actually happens...Who knows,he might be a Pro Bowler for years to come or he might play like Charlie Frye...What im saying is that Jeff already showed how good he was.

Jeremy Shockey got voted in a few years back but was out all but 2 or 3 games of the season.

First off, he's been in the league for 8 years. 1999 - 2006. With 4 good seasons. Oh, and he had 2 guys named Rice and Owens. Garcia is a 37 year old journeyman QB. Anyone who puts any stock in him right now is a fool.

1999-2006 is 7 years buddy...It doesnt matter who he had with him....Every "good" QB has to have good recievers for him to play well(well most of them with the exception of Tom Brady)...What im saying is that David Carr hasnt broke any record or did anything for anyone to notice him except for him being a 1st round draft pick and setting the record for most times being sacked in a season....Jeff proved how good he is and David hasnt...Yea,you can get a younger QB in David Carr or you can get an experienced and older QB that has done helpful things for teams....Hey,some teams like the older experienced QB.
