....the possible re-signing of Lynch as a possible mentor at the SS position and also the possible signing of Micheal Lewis to deepen our secondary?




I honestly like both, not that i want Lynch to play a bunch, but if he could retire as a buccaneer and help our secondary with learning process with addition of Lewis, then i beleive our secondary can get back to the top of the league in turnovers and passes defended....imo

As much as I love Lynch, and loved what he brought to this franchise....I totally disagree with signing people for mentoring duties. Either he can still play and the coaches and front office want him to play, or he can't.

Our Safety positions are in dire need of overhauling.

If I were you guys, Id pass on Lewis, dude got bench by the Eagles this year. Ken Hamlin of Seattle would be a better option.

Did Lewis get benched because of his bad play, or did Consindine beat him out for the right to start? I know a few of the commentators were drooling all over the kid, and calling him a diamond in the rough.

I dont think so, but I could be wrong. i think Lito, and dawkins were the only DB's from Philly in the PB. The Eagles fans may have said he should have been in the PB , but I dont think he was.

Clements is from the Bills and is going to cost a lot of money for any one to sign him.
