Default Fiedler at Buccs OTA's

PewterReport.com is reporting that former Miami quarterback Jay Fiedler is at One Buccaneer Place in street clothes. He was seen meeting with QBs coach Paul Hackett before practice. His presence as an observer at practice obviously means the Bucs are visiting with him and he is a candidate to be signed to help with the team's depth at quarterback. Stay tuned to PewterReport.com for more mini-camp coverage.

Feidler is a winner. His career winning percentage says so.

really, I didn't know that, what is his career winning percentage?

He really has a noodle arm and prevented any chance of his teams from making long plays, he may have gotten some wins, but not when it was crunch time and he will hurt your WR's

Honestly, I'm really starting to question the posts I'm reading on this forum. Fiedler is not a great QB by any stretch. Neither is Rattay. If you are going to say Rattay is better than Fiedler fine, come with some facts to back it up. Rattay has been guilty of throwing some flat out ducks so far in practice. One reporter has compared Simms to Rattay as watching a man and a boy throwing the football. So again fine, you may think Rattay is better but why......???? It certainly can't be arm strength as your reason. Whether Rattay or Fiedler are better than each other is completely irrelavant, we have Rattay, and a 6th round rookie out of Toledo backing up Simms. I welcome Fiedler with open arms. So J-Unit, would you like to give us some insight upon your grand opinion, or are you just trying to rack up a large post count???

Among active quarterbacks in the NFL, Fiedler owns the fifth-best starting record (minimum 25 starts) with a 37-23 record for a .617 winning percentage mark.

FOURTH QUARTER COMEBACKS: Fiedler led Miami to fourth-quarter comeback victories on five occasions in 2001... He has done this six times in his career during the regular season, and seven overall, including playoffs... In each instance, Fiedler thrived in the fourth quarter in guiding the Dolphins' come-from-behind wins during his two seasons with the club... Overall last year, he completed 78 of 123 passes (63.4%) for 958 yards with 11 touchdowns and seven interceptions in the fourth quarter... His 11 TD passes were the most in the NFL... In his seven career fourth quarter comebacks, he has completed 49 of 75 passes (65.3%) for 574 yards with seven touchdowns and one interception for a rating of 114.0...

The difference is Fiedler knows how to win and Rat man doesn't.
