Why would we trade arguably the best CB and really DB for that matter we've ever had in team history, still in the prime of his career, currently under one of the most cap friendly deals in the league....for a backup player? Ellis is already a backup if I remember correctly, and even if this trade went through, he'd be coming HERE to be a backup.

If any DE takes over opposite or for Rice for that matter, its going to be Dewayne White.

We could still probably get a 2nd and a 4th for Barber if we were to trade him. It wouldn't be a player for player trade, I can't see Allen letting that go through or even considering it.
