It was just on ESPN News... Apparently for a 2008 draft pick and a player...

That 2008 draft pick has to be a high pick, maybe a 2nd? Possibly 1st? Unless the player involved is solid

Either way, Jeff Garcia and Plummer, Bucs are suddenly stacked at QB

No, the trade was just announced. The Broncos traded Plummer's RIGHTS to the Bucs for a conditional pick. Plummer retires, Broncos get nothing. If not, the pick is based on playing time/performance.

What the hell makes you think that? He's a bum *** loser who quit so he wouldn't have to face the competition of Chris Simms and Bruce Gradkowski. Even before that, he only netted a 4th round pick.

I'd be surprised if we gave up more than a 5th or 6th round conditional pick, contingent upon him reporting to the team AND playing. At this point though, Garcia would have the upper hand as far as starting would go. Plummer would now have to compete with Simms for the backup role, but more likely Gradkowski for 3rd string.

Who would give up a 1st or 2nd for a ****ing 3rd string QB who is afraid of competition?
