Default Buccs in 4 way race

Out of the 3 divisions with the leader only 1 game above 500(AFC west,NFC west,NFC south)the Buccs are in the tightest race. Yes even the lowly Falcons are only 2 games out at 3-6.

Buccs are 5-4, Panthers 4-5 and the Saints 4-5 followed by the 3-6 Falcons.
With the Panthers on a 3 game skid and starting the 44 year old Vinny Testaverde against the 8-1 Packers at Lambeau sunday it's doubtfull they will end their skid anytime soon.

The Saints play the Texans in a must win game to stay in the chase because the Buccs play the Falcons to take a 3 game lead over the Falcons should they win.

How ever if the Falcons win and the Panthers lose, the Saints win.
That would put the Buccs at 5-5,Saints at 5-5 Panthers and Falcons at 4-6.
This division might become the first in history? to have a division winner below 500. OUCH!!

So which team will give away the crown in the NFC south to which team?

I think it will come down to the Saints and Buccs. The Saints don't have a defense. the Bucs are so injury plagued, you never know how they will hold up. I would give the Buccs the nod right now since thier defense exists.

Things worked out in the Buccs favor this weekend.
They now have a 2 game lead over the Saints/Panthers thanks to the Texans and Packers.
