I am not saying that Fischer will get fired. He and Chow will quit because of the hopelessness of the situation in Tennessee. They simply wanted nothing to do with Vince Young, and who can blame them? Young has to look at his I.D. to spell his name. That is how hopeless he is upstairs. Who wants a dumb version of Mike Vick? He will lead Tennessee to the abyss of Mediocrity, at best. The Titan management team has destroyed this franchaise. Look how they are handling the McNair situation, and all he did was put this team on the map. This is the worst front office I have seen since the Spanos's took over the Chargers. This is even worse than Al Davis and his phantom crew in Oakland.

Vick and Young are nothing alike, Young has nowhere near the speed or elusiveness of Vick. He is a much better QB than Vick. He is much more accurate and has around the same arm strength. Young has also never proven he is stupid, just that he wasn't prepared for an IQ test. Most NFL players get great preparartion and his agent didn't do that.
When he gets his time to learn, he could be great.

i watched nfl access and they said that mcnair and b-more already have a deal that would give mcnair 14 million this season, so that is the mark that ten. has to meet if they want him for this year. because they want to sign rookies they prolly won't be able to match, sooner or later he will be a raven.

Yeh it's just a matter of time now. Tennessee does not have the cap to sign McNair, and they arent even trying to restructure his contract.

they said on nfl access that they only let him work out a deal to see what they had to come up with and once they knew the deal it was pretty much a dead relationship

Thumbs down The Skinny on all this crap!

Look dudes,
This situation is what the Mexicans call "El Terrible!" This guy Adams hasn't a clue on how to treat people. Especially warriors that have fought and made him so much $ it's rediculous! I mean you can look back at the Eddie George situation and see that! They (Adams & Reese) use the media to create situations that are "unfixable," and then they try to use that to thier advantage.
This team may never have grown roots here if weren't for those two (McNair & Eddie)! They DID have to compete with The Big Orange when they moved to town, and now UT is trying to win back its' fans (Even after 2 miserable Titans seasons)! I mean you can chalk things like Randall Godfrey & J. McCareins up to business, but these 2 guys have been the franchise!
Secondly, the VY pick, though you're obviously right about it being a front office pick, was a good one. The town has grown used to exciting players like VY. And Ireally don't care about his IQ; did ya see the Rose Bowl? Ohio State? 2005 Rose Bowl? He's a winner. He set that WHOLE team's sites on Ohio State last spring, and kept them focused until they beat 'em, EXPLODING them onto the national radar! The guy has "it," and that's all you can say about him!
My problem is the way they're cutting ties with thier superstars. There should be a franchise tag-type deal for waning superstars to keep them with thier long-term teams. Steve McNair has provided us with a lot of wonderful memories, and those are soon to be over now. Adams and Reese aren't stupid, they knew they'd lose that arbitration! They did that sh*t on purpose, and it is totally 10th grade of them! We needed Mac for at least one more year, and that was BAD bidness. Next media nightmare: Coach Fisher?

also, considering vince young has been attending mcnair's football camp since he was in high school, it was the perfect mentor for young. They screwed this whole situation years ago when they kept redoing the deal and completely backloading his contract to the point that they could never pay it.

Tell me about it. They keep getting these scrambling QB's (Moon, McNair, Young) and they still have never played in a Superbowl. Not willing to accept the fact that scramblers do not make it to the big game, they now dump Young's tutor and their #1 QB. This front office may surpass San Diego and Oakland as the worst in the business.

WOA WOA. First off Warren Moon is an all-time great. Secondly, Steve McNair should no longer be considered a scrambling QB. He has totally changed his style of play and thats what won him MVP couple years back. Also, the Titans HAVE played in a SB. SO get your facts straight.
