Default Chris Brown Bulks up

http://www.sportingnews.com/nfl/teams/titans/index.html

excerpt:

SCOUTING REPORT: RB Chris Brown has more company in the crowded backfield this year, but he's prepared to hold off backs like Travis Henry and rookie LenDale White. Brown, who suffered a broken hand last offseason and missed time in minicamps, has been healthy this offseason. He's also added 10 pounds to his 6-3 frame. Brown has improved in pass protection, which puts him ahead of the other backs. He has several strengths, beginning with his quickness. He's not a big, powerful runner, but he's fast and he proved to be a valuable weapon catching the football out of the backfield last year as well. Brown still needs to get a better feel for when contact is coming so he can lower his shoulder and avoid the big hits that have injured him in the past.

Its good to hear that hes gained 10 pounds of muscle...im interested to see how good of a year he has this year...also chris brown is a great running back but his upright style of running is going to kill him...he needs to learn how to protect himself better...

Congrats ellis. Brown ,like said, needs to get lower. He is a bIG back but will get seriously hurt if he doesn't improve his style.

He is going to take more hits, but I dont think he is going to change his style. Running upright does have some positives.

it does have some positves but when hes about to get hit...he needs to learn how to cover up a little more and not be standing straight up...

He will get more yards if he gets lower.

i dont know he has proven with his style of running that it can be affective and hes ran right over people before but my only concern is him taking a hit and being exposed too much...some situations he might get more yards but all im saying is his style of running is affective for him...not even to mention thats the way he runs...hes not going to change the way he runs...thats like me telling you, that you have to change the way you write or something...it just wouldnt be comfortable..

Exactly it has worked and he is not going to change it. But he also has to realize that he is taking more hits this way and that might be the reason he keeps getting hurt.
