It is almost impossible to trade RB`s anymore. Teams seem intent on drafting, or signing RB`s in free agency.

I think it`s the "Bronco factor". Teams see the Broncos plug any RB into their offense and it works, so they think they can do the same thing. Why go out and give up players or draft picks, when you can just plug anyone in and have them run? Ironically, it was the Broncos who were involved in the last big name trade for a RB. I`m not going to count Ricky Williams as a big time back.

I think its because no one trades in the NFL regardless of position.

trades are hard to make because of how contracts affect team salary caps, it is as complex a system for teams as they come. that is why teams hire guys just to analyse the cap and how to work contracts to optimize the room that they are allowed to sign guys.

I would like to see Chris Brown stay here and work out a deal.

He may need to go somewhere else, I would be pretty pissed If I was the guy that was supposed to replace Eddie George and then had to sit through your team bringing in henry and then drafting white, It would make me want to leave too.

I agree, but he handled the situation well and was given oppurtunities, he just needs to stay healthy.

An agent for Chris Brown visited training camp Wednesday in hopes of pushing the Titans closer to extending the running back's contract or trading him.

Wynn Silberman said he planned to meet with Titans General Manager Floyd Reese, who so far hasn't been willing to discuss an extension or trade.

Silberman also left open the possibility that Brown may be advised to leave training camp at some point.
