Less than two weeks before the start of the regular season, the Titans are preparing to add another quarterback to the mix in veteran Kerry Collins.

Dialogue between the two sides heated up over the weekend, and plans were being made on Sunday for Collins to visit Baptist Sports Park in the coming days to take a physical, according to sources familiar with the talks.

i don't know why the Titans would even think about signing Collins. I know Volek isn't any prize, but neither is Collins. And with only two weeks left before the season starts it seems pointless.

The first team hasnt scored a TD in the last two games. The second team has scored 1 in that span. It is apparent that the offense needs help and I personally hope we sign him.

Collins doesnt change Young's status at all. He migh see fewer playing time that was already limited, but this gurantees he will not be starting this year for those of you that do not know.
