Quote:
Titans No. 3 quarterback Billy Volek returned to Nashville on Sunday night, but said it's "time for me to move on."
The Chargers, Chiefs and Raiders are interested in trading for Volek, who requested to be released or traded after the Titans signed Kerry Collins a couple of weeks before the regular season.

Volek is represented by agent Drew Rosenhaus.
"I haven't talked to Drew yet," Volek said Sunday afternoon. "We kind of gave this thing a rest through the week. Now I just have to wait and see. I have to do what is best for my career.
"Tennessee fans have been great for me, and now it is time for me to move on."
Volek said he never expected to get into Sunday's game.

Cant blame the guy for wanting out. With the drafting of Vince and the signing of Collins, he knew he wouldnt see the field.

How can a team turn on the starting guy so quickly, Volek was supposed to be the starter this year, and never seemed to have anyone behind him. Collins is horrible and yet Volek has nochance of ever playing, I would demand a trade if I was him.

If you are talking to me yes, and it says requested, there would be no request if I was Volek, I would cometo the media, the team, the owner, or anyone who would listen and demand out.

I don't think Volek is in any position to be demanding anything... I don't even think most of the NFL are aware that he's a player...

They were last year(maybe two years ago), when he stepped in for McNair and looked great. Tenn wanted him to be the replacement for Stevey, but it didn't work out and now his value is relatively low.

Two years ago. Started eight games and had a qb rating of 87.
Most memorable game was when he was played Oakland. Went 40 of 60 for 492 yards and 4 tds. The game before that he threw for 426 and 4 tds as well. Heres a link to his game logs.

Volek just needs to get into a system that will work for him. He's not a bad QB at all, and there are teams that could use him. Depending on Collins is a mistake on the Titans part.
