WTF? What RW did is nothing compared to what Haynesworth did. Haynesworth premeditated this all. He took off the persons helmet before he did it.... after that he scraped his foot along his face.... and after that he stomped on his head! It's all on tape. He premeditated it, carried it out, and after that... he had the nerve to act like it wasnt a big deal and got mad at coach Fisher for getting upset about it.

That alone is enough to warrant a 5 game suspension... but Haynesworth deserves much more than that.

Gurode could have lost his eyesight and have never been able to play in the NFL again. He could have died. He had to get 25-35 stitches on his head.

Haynesworth's punishment should be equal to what the potential damage could have been to Gurode. That means: Kicked out of the NFL, fined heavily, and serve jail or prison time as well as anger management classes.

At the minimum.

Local news in TN said that they allowed the cowboys to pursue criminal charges against him.

That means, it's probably entirely up to Gurode.

Do you really want this ******* coming back to the NFL playing for some other team where he goes out and does something like this again? If that happened it would make the NFL seem weak because they hadn't carried out a significant enough penalty the first time it happened.

I wouldn't want this guy on my favorite teams. I would hate the organization for being interested in him in the first place. And I wouldn't want to risk letting him on the field again.

Actually, you can tell for sure that he took the helmet off.. Just before he reaches down to gurode, you can see gurode inside of his helmet... as the other titans pass the camera, it covers it up, and that's where he scrapes his foot against his face... and when the players move out of the way, you see him without a helmet... and then he gets his face stomped... gurode definitely didn't take his own helmet off...

I am embarrassed...the Titans are obviously frustrated with the way things are going right now.

Wow Haynesworth...just wow. That was a totally classless act. I mean, ok, you're frustrated that you are losing and whatnot. Why can't you just wait for the Dallas offense to go back out, then take your anger out then? I know they just finished scoring a TD, but heck, the game wasn't over yet.

i think what pisses me off the most about this is the level that it is putting pro athletes on. like some how haynesworth isnt going to be prosecuted to the extent. i mean christ that was assult I. the cleats would be counted as a weapon in any court in the county. if nothing happens more than a suspension and a fine ill be very angry. if anyone of us wouldve done this we would be in jail.

This guy should have been suspended the rest of the season, attend anger management classes and make restitution to the victim. He also needs to be brought up on criminal charges and convicted. You see so much of this crap going on in sports, Little league, high school, college, and alot of it is coaches and parents. If this guy doesn't get some sort of a criminal conviction what is that going to show these kids playing sports? Romonowski got away with alot of stuff, and I don't understand why. This guy needs to pay the price.
