this generation will be known for one thing-our retarded "just wins" mantra. it shouldn't be used for anyone. not tom brady. not peyton manning. not anyone. teams win.

for something that's always been so hollow and baseless, i'm surprised so many people still go along with it.

I'd be willing to bet Marino would trade in all of his records for a super bowl ring. And Duds, we've had this argument so many times you should know by now I don't think he's a great quarterback.

It was a joke? ummmok then. Maybe I missed the punchline. The W is all that matters mantra is how QB's get overrated IMO.

It happened when Steeler fans fell back on it after Ben Over-ratedberger won a superbowl throwing 19 passes a game and it happened last year when a media darling QB who dazzled in a national championship game happened to be on a team that won a lot of games the second half despite the fact that his QB rating was below the likes of Andrew Walter, Joey Harrington and Charlie Friggin Frye.

I hate the "w" is all that matters crap...its simply delusional kool-aid rationalization.

Ha yea it was a joke. Pred said his Jags own VY. I pointed out the record is 1-1. Of course VY had nothing to do with that win he was totally shut down the whole game. (hence the

at the end of each post).

I have a feeling we're not talking about the same thing. To me the W is all that matters. I'm not talking about the Hall of Fame or Pro Bowl or any of that stuff. I'm talking about any given Sunday Vince and that team could find a way to win. That Jaguars game... the Titans won. I don't give two ****s about how Vince played (and I know he didn't lead them to victory) all I care about as a fan is the W.

Everybody has their preference... mine is to win.
