Default Incident between Pacman, Haynesworth investigated

Incident between Pacman, Haynesworth investigated - Nashville, Tennessee - Tuesday, 11/20/07 - Tennessean.com

DENVER — Titans officials are investigating an apparent altercation between suspended cornerback Pacman Jones and defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth this past weekend, Coach Jeff Fisher confirmed Monday night.

"I am looking into it right now, but I am not going to comment,'' Fisher said after the Titans lost 34-20 to the Broncos. "We will look into it more (today).''

Haynesworth made the trip to Denver but was inactive for the game because of a hamstring injury.

It's unclear where in Nashville the altercation took place.

Metro police spokesman Don Aaron, in Denver on Monday night, said police did not have record of an incident involving the two players and no Titans players had been arrested. Aaron said he would explore the matter in more detail upon returning to Nashville.

Jones is currently serving a one-year suspension from the NFL, and earlier this month Commissioner Roger Goodell said he would not be reinstated early. The NFLPA plans to appeal that decision.

Cutler’s night: Broncos quarterback Jay Cutler had one of his best games as a pro on Monday night, throwing for 200 yards and two touchdowns while posting a QB rating of 137.0.

Cutler had a career best in completion percentage (76.2), and the QB rating was also a career-high. Cutler passed for 200 or more yards for the seventh time in 10 games.

“It felt good,’’ the former Vanderbilt star said. “I thought we had a great game plan. We were on Monday Night Football on a big stage and after everything it’s nice to be tied (for first in the AFC West with a 5-5 record).’’

After the game, Cutler and Titans quarterback Vince Young hugged on the field.

“I thought he threw the ball very well,’’ Cutler said of Young. “They had a few really big drops and our defense was able to step up.’’

No details at all doesn't make for much of a story. The media whores must be desperate again.

Sounds like Cutler is somewhat like Wrex. 200yds is a great game. LOL

That was an understatement. How many first downs did receivers drop? 3? And at least two were long first downs.
