Bulluck won't push for new contract just yet
Quote:
Jim Wyatt of the Nashville Tennessean reports veteran linebacker Keith Bulluck has made it clear he'd like to finish his career with the Titans.
Yet with one year left on his contract, no one seems to be panicking about getting an extension in place.
"Some contracts stand the test of time and Keith is still one of the best paid linebackers and he's going to have a heck of a year and have an opportunity to get a new deal,'' agent Gary Wichard said. "I never push. I have players like Dwight Freeney, Terrell Suggs and Jason Taylor and I never push anybody.
Titans General Manager Mike Reinfeldt said recently the team plans to address some of the expiring contracts of players later this offseason. Wichard, however, said he hasn't talked with Reinfeldt yet about an extension.
While Bulluck's attendance in the offseason program has been spotty, Wichard said, the player is happy.
