Default Campbell Hurt??

I just heard from someone watching the skins game that Campbell just had a bad knee injury. This could be terrible for the Redskins.

Dude it looks to be a bruised knee, but they're getting an MRI, so there could be a slight tear if they really want to check it out. A slight tear is bad, but you never know. An MRI can reveal things that feeling the knee can't.

Injuries pile up for Redskins - NFL - Yahoo! Sports

WASHINGTON (Ticker) - Washington Redskins quarterback Jason Campbell and linebacker Marcus Washington both were injured in Saturday's preseason contest against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Campbell, the team's starting quarterback, took a hard shot to the knee by Steelers defensive end Brett Keisel in the second quarter. He lay on the ground for several minutes before being taken to the locker room.

Keisel drew a roughing-the-passing penalty on the play.

Campbell returned to the sideline for the second half with his knee wrapped.

Washington, an eighth-year linebacker, suffered a dislocated right elbow that knocked him from the game.

Backup wide receiver Mike Espy also left the game with a left knee sprain and will not return.
