If I read the standings right with the Cowboys ,Vikings and Buccs loosing then the Redskins are in the playoffs as of right now all teams 8-6. So if they win out then they are in. Four or five weeks ago this did not look possible.

Ya, they have been playing good as of lately, but also keep in mind they have to play two tough divisional opponents there last two games in the Giants and the Eagles. The Giants are a good solid team, and it should be a great game out there on Saturday. The Eagles are definitely not as good as they should be because of all their injuries, but even so, I think they will make it a game against the Redskins. It should be interesting to see the playoff scenarios if the Redskins are to split these two games.

The Redskins are playing very well, but it makes you wonder how long it will last. The Giants' D is like an iron wall, particularly to a team that lacks a lot in the running game. Calling what's left of the Eagles a "tough opponent" may be a bit liberal though.

You're right, touch opponent might be overstating it a bit, but they are definitely a team you have to prepare throuroughly or you will quickly be surprised, as the Giants were. They have a solid defense which keeps them in games most of the time, and an offense whcih has the potential for success if they were to click during the same game. I think it should be a pretty good game regardless.
