That really doesn't mean anything. This division can go any which way. You could make a case for any team to win it or to finish in the basement.

I'm actually in complete agreement - I was just pointing out the stupidity of using a magazine to judge how solid the FA acquisitions will be (since Ram used Street and Smith's to indicate that the Redskins pickups will be busts). I'd have to say, based on FA acquisitions and upgrades to the team, the Eagles are a bit behind the rest of the teams, but if they can stay healthy they're just as dangerous as anyone else. Top to bottom this is the best division in the NFL.

Actually, I was surprized to see some of the analysis. I thought the Redskins had a great Free Agency but it was rated near the bottom. If those players play to their potention, yuo could very well win the divsion. If they play to what Snyder paid them, you win the SB.
Injuries are the great equalizer. Injuries and the bouncing ball often determines Champions.
This just occured to me -- why didn't the eagles even try to sign Randel El or Brandon Lloyd.

They were only 20 million or so under the cap and want to get to 50 under...
they did just offer Dawkins (one of the best players they've ever had) 4 million for 2 years, so they might be breaking the hammer on the piggy bank to find the jack that fat deal....

Brandon Lloyd wasn't a FA and the Eagles won't give up a 2nd and 3rd pick for anyone let alone a WR that isn't a #1. They were going to give up their #2 for Javon Walker but Denver had a better #2.
ARE is severly overpaid and the Eagles won't overpay anyone.
You may disagree with the reasons, but those are the reasons.

Well, Brandon Lloyd and ARE just aren't that good... that's another reason.
That wasn't a jab at the Skins, although I figured you might take it that way. Look at it objectively. If another team were to get these guys, you wouldn't think much of it. You'd think 'Eh, these guys got decent receivers who might contribute as a #2.'. They aren't gamebreakers. They'll give you a nice play here and there, but haven't shown any consistency. Ever.
