Its all about chemistry. With the right QB and receiver combinations, you could see something. So, beginning with the QB, assuming Brunnel the starter, I doubt there will be chemistry in this instance.

Saunders will be their biggest benefit. Brunell is still a decent starter. It's possible that they achieve big-time success, they just haven't shown enough yet to assume it will happen.

That wasn't a jab at the Skins, although I figured you might take it that way. Look at it objectively. If another team were to get these guys, you wouldn't think much of it. You'd think 'Eh, these guys got decent receivers who might contribute as a #2.'. They aren't gamebreakers. They'll give you a nice play here and there, but haven't shown any consistency. Ever.

arty:" class="inlineimg" />

just trying to get some sparks is July... offseason sucks and this is the worst month of all...

one thing most noobs don't understand is the a ARE contract isn't exactly what's been reported (7 year 31.5 million with a 11.5 SB)... the bonuses are 5 mil in 06; 5 mil in 08 and a RB of 1.5 in 08. His salary for 06 and 07 is 585K... so if the skins dont think he's worth the money after 2 years they can cut him and only be out the 5 plus the 1.1 in salary over 2 years... they of course would take a cap hit of about 3 million, but thats better than giving him another 6.5... again the skins have been putting lots of options in their contracts that are favorable to the team, but dont get much pub... it's more sexy to say ARE got a 31.5 million deal with a 11.5 SB

Bottom Line is I like the WR group of Moss, ARE, Loyld and Patten with Cooley at TE and under the guildance of Al Saunders better than last year... time will tell...

It's definitely a deep group... No reason to not be optimistic.

It doesn't matter. Can anyone name a reciever who has thrived in Al Saunders offense let alone two. I think Moss will be big again and expect big numbers from Cooley but after that there is going to be a huge drop-off.
[/b]
That is exactly what i was thinking

I doubt any of those guys have more then 500 yards since they wont be more then the 3rd option in that offense

1 - Moss
2 - Cooley
3 - Lloyd
4 - Randel EL

And like you, im expecting a pretty big season from Cooley

That's about how I see it -- Portis should have a monster year (I know he just set a franchise record, but I'm expecting him to maybe match it with less carries)

One thing to note about Saunders past receivers -- the best "WR" he's had since he was the WR coach with the Rams (Holt, Bruce and Az) has been Eddie Kennison, so he hasn't had near the talent at WR the last 5 years...

I understand where your coming from, but his offense in general is based around the Running Game and like in KC, utilizing the TE>
