Redskins | Campbell could be No. 3 quarterback to open season

Jason La Canfora, of the Washington Post, reports Washington Redskins QB Jason Campbell is not sure whether he is the No. 2 or No. 3 quarterback on the team's depth chart. Head coach Joe Gibbs is expected to make his decision public Monday, Sept. 4, and many within the team believe that QB Todd Collins will receive the nod as QB Mark Brunell's primary backup. [/b]
I dont think anything should keep Campbell from being #2..inexperience included. Collins is going to look just as bad if not worse than Campbell if he sees action, and at least with Campbell they're growing pains and he'll more than likely improve from week to week should he have to play for an extended period of time.

Campbell looks like the real deal... knowing Gibbs, Collins will be the back up and go in if Brunell goes down in a close game.... but JC would get the call moving forward if Brunell stays out...
I know i didnt watch alot of skins games, but when i did, Campell looked by far like the best QB on that team

Actually, Campbell looked pretty good when he was in. I say get the kid ready for the real NFL. Brunell will probably not last the entire season anyhow.
