ANd with Antonio Bryant not happy already with his QB, expect another T OWens to emerge!
I agree with that poster, we could've drafted a better QB. BUt I'm still willing to give Smith a chance PROVIDED that we even HAVE an Oline that won't let a field or other players hurt them. I say this is his year to either improve or maybe we better get another QB on this team if we wind up drafting no. 1.

bahahahhahahahhahah, your own fan just said your QB was #4 this week, and you JUST drafted him with the first pick 2 years ago, and you're gunna replace him with a first pick this season? Haha, and YOU say YOU'RE the one that really wants the team to win.

P.S. They lost bc the cards scored more points then they did

DO I want to see the QB personally replaced? No. But there's going to be tension if ANtonio Bryant doesn't get his fair share of receptions and the team loses. IF a team goes 0 and 6, or 1 and5, isn't it common to replace the QB? That's called a coaches decision, not what I want as the fan. I would prefer it if we have an Oline that's like the Steelers, the COlts, even (GOd I hate to say it) the Seahawks that dont' have like 2 key players hurt, or 3, the other 2 suck and do nothing. We got a running game similar to those teams BUT if you got nobody on offense, how is that established? How can Alex Smith improve if he has no protection? He can't run to the side where K Harris can't do his job, he'll get sacked for sure!

And your own 49er fan, I'm more then willing to say they got problem with BUT the team lost and anything done matters not. When you win the game, what you did counts. But when you lose the game, nothing counts. Just remember, I do believe you have K Barlow on the JEts doing what he does best, continues to suck. Suuuure, ALex Smith may be no. 4 this week, but next week, the stock tumbles down to about 16 or 20, and then following week against Eagles, drop back down to 32 where he belongs.

ANd did I say I wanted a QB with the first pick of the season? How about somebody new on the OLine that won't get hurt? How about a WR that won't complain and do his job? How about a CB that can play? How about another LB? THere's plenty more no. 1s that don't involve a QB.

If your JEts won, that's improvement. If you lost your game, you got a ways to go.

Whoa dude, i can understand your frustration, but don't blame the loss on injuries because of a bad playing surface. The Cardinals have to play on it also. First of all, I think Jonas Jennings was a bust when he left the bills anyway, and Larry Allen is what, 36? I belive San Fran is an improving team, but it could still be a couple more years before they can be serious playoff contenders. With all the talent Arizona has, even on defense which was number 8 in the NFL last year belive it or not, they should have blown away the 9ers, but you guys put up a good fight. Second, Yeah some owners suck, and Eddie D was a great guy who made some mistakes with his mob connections. 3rd, officiating has seriously sucked up to midseason form already in week 1. It happens to everyone, you think i was happy with that RIDICULOUS OPI call after the giants were driving towards midfield? The Giants could have won that game, had they not dropped 3 sure INTs, not missed a 40 yrd FG, and decided to block on KRs. That's why they play the games. I have moved on, and you should too. Most mistakes can and hopefully will be corrected, what else can you do?

Hey man, thanks for the feedback. Even if Allen was old and I don't know about Jennings' health, I still feel they gave stronger support then who we had last year. We had Clement, and he was the worse player to have. I still feel K Harris and SMiley represent the weak side that Smith has to run into, which is why we need someone like V Davis to block that side (unless E Johnson is slotted though, not sure how he lines up). I still feel without Allen and Jennings, we lost the run game with Gore and evaulating Smith the QB. K Barlow no matter what was a bust for look what he's doing with the Jets.

We have a situation in SF where if we don't win, team could wind up in Los ANgeles. ANything on this new stadium will be brought up to the voters and guess what? It won't pass if we have a losing team and bad moral going around. I don't know if we still have a lease at the Stick beyond 2010 or what. I don't want that to happen.

I agree about your team. I think the refs take away the enjoyment of games with these bad dimwitted calls by the 4th quarter. I like to see a good game end cleanly without the horse crap call.

I still feel looking at our schedule, we're either 0 and 6 or 1 and 5 towards the bye, and after that, gets even worse. I can't see how we can put up a fight when you miss 2 players and your running/passing is tossed out. Unless somebody does want to fight on D and Secondary, this team is in big trouble, and I can't see how we sold out all 8 games> I swear, the opposing teams in Eagles, Rams, Raiders, Chargers, Packers, Vikings, Cardinals, Hawks all must've bought all the tickets to fill our park up, just like SUn Devil got filled when the Cowboys and Packers came to town. I think it's sad to have opposing fans in your house, the game should be blacked out if you don't have a home crowd. NFL needs to crack a whip or something on this problem in SF. THe Bears exhibition game had NOBODY in the park, next to the Chargers so that's a bad sign that 65,000 will not show up at the STick.

And yeah on Eddie D, I still that we have John York as our owner. Even though we tied him up, locked him in a room, he is still our Lex Luthor of the team.

Oh please, your Ram team was as anemic as our team. What makes you think you've improved if all you do is choke to Seattle? Course you can do me a favor and actually TRY to make it a game against the Hawks when you play them and bring something good to the NFC West.

Until then, the NFC West still sucks. I know you'll beat the 49ers so no comeback please, heard it all before.
