he might not be the best in coverage, but he has 15 interceptions and a bunch of passes defensed in 4.5 years. that alone shows he's a playmaker.

bull**** what the **** does that mean? That statistic is totally subjective and is not an actual stat. He's constantly out of position and as W00dy said he needs a dirtbike to catch up to some WR. He's also helped out by the fact that he has the most UNDERRATED PLAYER IN THE LEAGUE covering his same side of the field, Terrence Newman.

Parcells said in his 2nd year here that Roy was a few biscuts away so maybe not.

One good thing was said in all that. newman is very underrated. maybe this year he will get the recognition he is earning. b/c you don't get alot of ints doesn't mean you aren't doing your job. in his case it means you aren't getting thrown at.

about roy one thing that is not measurable is that he is a team player, leader, and doesn't get into trouble. not to bash taylor, who has better cover skills, but i would take roy over him anyday. b/c i know he will be there and not possible suspended

precisely right. The good far outweighs the bad when it comes to Roy. I agree in that he does get out of position a liiiiittle, but I am not going to bag on a guy who does so much for us. I never do to any one player who is a playmaker. Not everyone can be 100% perfect all of the time.
