Ehh...everyone looks great in a highlight reel.

The guy did have the #1 career reception record for a while, and that impressive enough IMO. Still the faact that he wasn't the best reciever on those great teams is a good argument too.

Monk over Irvin is BS. Monk should definatly get in, but Irvin was the better player. Monk had the All Time record, and that should get him in the Hall, but he wasnt a dominant WR, Irvin was.

Irvin played for a running team too. Monk just wasnt a dominant WR, and he usually wasnt the top WR on his team. IMO he should get in, but I think their are others that should be in first like Cris Carter and Andre Reed. If Tim Bown becomes eligible before Monk gets in, he should get in before him too
