I am just playing.
Lets see what that Jags D can do against the Colts O this time around.
I think it'll be as it always is. Close as hell.
This game depends on what the offense does. Fred Taylor SHOULD be back for this game, but who knows with him? Greg Jones has played well either way. And David Garrard's play matters a lot as well. As long as he is efficient, and doesn't turn it over, and the running game keeps him relaxed, then we should take it.
The key match-up in this game is Khalif Barnes vs. Dwight Freeney. Khalif has been very good this year, but Dwight will be his first REAL test.

I wonder how the weather is gonna be?
The closer the better, the more game tape the Bengals get to watch on how a real team stops the Colts the better. That is assuming they get to play the Colts in the playoffs which is not a given, but I hope.
Still don't think the Jags can win this game, especially without Leftwich.

Your team would need the Jaguars defensive personell to go along with the tape.
I am still iffy The Jaguars defense is what is the heart and soul of this team, not really the QB position. Offensively though, we may be in trouble unless DG suddenly stops locking on to his receivers. Since Byron was injured, Matt Jones has only had 1 pass thrown his way. That's bad. If the Colts take away Jimmy Smith and Ernest Wilford, and stop Fred Taylor and Greg Jones, then the Colts will win this one for sure. Reggie Williams will not make an impact, and Matt Jones will probably not even get a look.
I think this team plays it's best when everyone doubts them. It's when everyone is hyping them up that they start playing bad. We obviously have our walls against the back coming into this game, and that's why I think we will win. Our defense will show up, I know that for sure. I'm pretty sure our special teams will, as well. This game all depends on what version of our offense comes out. The 2nd half offense or the 1st half offense.
That defense better show up. If they play like they did against the Browns this will be a blowout for sure.
I haven't seen DG, so all I have to work off of are highlights and what you have said. I think it will be interesting to see how the Colts D plays against him. Will they stack the line in an attempt to stop the run and force DG to make difficult throws? or will they try to get pressure with their front four and try to confuse him?
Honestly, I can't say that I am 100% sure that the Colts will win the game because the Jags do show up when they play the Colts.

Peyton Manning isn't Charlie Frye. We underestimated Frye, and basically had to prepare two gameplans for him AND Dilfer. I could understand why we had troubles in the 1st half. The 2nd half, he was basically limited. We were able to sack Frye, but I was impressed with Frye's decision making. I don't think he made one bad throw that was nearly picked.
We will gameplan for Manning like we always do, because we know more about him than Frye.
I'm pretty sure the Colts will blitz a lot and stack the box to force DG to throw the ball. That's basically what every team is gonna do from now on since DG isn't Byron in terms of his throwing ability.
The city has shown up for this game (it's already sold out) so I'm pretty sure the Jaguars will be ready and pumped. I'm eager for this game because the Jaguars-Colts games are always classics.

Colts-38
Jags-15
I think you'll be VERRRRRY suprised. The Colts haven't scored 30 on the Jaguars since they became division rivals.
I'm not saying we will win, because I don't think we will. We have way too much **** to overcome.... but the game will be close, Byron or not.
