its so weird that an NFC team winning against an AFC team can give the Bucs a playoff birth. I think thats how it is with the Steelers too. If San Diego wins theyre in, yet San Diego is out of it and Denver already has the #2 seed locked.

hold on im confused........if the saints win this and dallas wins against the rams while CAR/WAS both win does that mean that we get in and somehow the bucs miss?

yes, if that happened Carolina wins the NFC South and Washington and Dallas would be the wildcards.

another question, how much magnitude does saturday nights giants raiders game have on our chances? does that one impact dallas at all?

Only 3 scenario's for the Cowboys:

-Carolina loses/Dallas Wins

-Redskins lose/Dallas Wins

-Giants & Bucs lose/Dallas Wins (this one gets really confusing and involves other tie breakers that would involve other teams winning and losing so hope for one of the first 2)
