We'll need to get our **** together for this game. If you get running on us, we're ****ed. McNair has also padded his stats against us over the years. The titans have been a monkey that we need to get off our back. 31-24, Bengals win.
As mentioned above, we seem to have always sucked against the Titans. should have beaten them the last two times we have met, and we haven't done.
hopefuly Richy / TJ / Williams are playing and we can go and play with some intensity and get a win, dont care how or in what fashion, but we need this win big time !

Why To Watch
The Bengals' undefeated streak ended last Sunday night. The Titans are coming off their most complete game of the season, a performance that may help keep their season alive. . . .
Carson Palmer has become a top quarterback, and his connection with Bengals wide receiver Chad Johnson creates one of the league’s most explosive passing combinations. The running game is rolling as well, powered by Rudi Johnson and Chris Perry. The Bengals defense is becoming the unit that coach Marvin Lewis envisioned. It has a ballhawking secondary, athletic linebackers and a viable pass rush led by ends Justin Smith and Robert Geathers.
Tennessee continues to find success on the arm and playmaking flair of quarterback Steve McNair, and it is getting a steady effort from running back Chris Brown. End Kyle Vanden Bosch has emerged as a sack specialist. . . .
A win would get the Titans to .500 for the first time since Week 2 and move them a step closer to respectability. For the Bengals, a win will put them back in command of the AFC North race.
Bengals Keys For Success
1. Protect Palmer. The offensive line suffers from a rash of injuries, and the Titans have an effective pressure package spearheaded by Vanden Bosch. Dinged-up right tackle Willie Anderson will need help from a running back or blocking tight end Reggie Kelly.
2. Make quick recognitions on defense. Rookie middle linebacker Odell Thurman must get the front set -- not an easy task against an offense that uses multiple formations and motion. If Thurman can diagnose formations, the offense will struggle -- the Titans lack playmakers to beat this defense's athletes.
3. Establishing the run. The Titans will look to take away the vertical passing game by playing safeties deep. Palmer can force them out of deep coverage by attacking the interior of the front seven, so look for him to force-feed the ball to Rudi Johnson.
Titans Keys For Success
1. Convert on third down. The old saying "the best defense is a good offense" applies here. Look for the offense to establish ball possession with lengthy drives. Tight ends Erron Kinney and Ben Troupe will present major matchup problems for smallish Bengals linebackers.
2. Take away Chad Johnson. The Palmer-to-Johnson combination makes Cincinnati's offense tick. Expect the defense to throw double or bracket coverages at Johnson to make Palmer look elsewhere. The defense also must find ways to throw off Palmer's rhythm.
3. Get wide receivers involved. Wideouts have struggled to get open consistently, and as a result, the passing game is compressed. Bengals cornerback Deltha O'Neal is a ballhawk, but he gambles on short routes and lacks great recovery speed. McNair will use short slants and outs against O'Neal early to set him up for double moves.
Injuries at a glance
Bengals injuries
10/11/05 Madieu Williams S Shoulder Probable for Week 6
10/11/05 Matt Schobel TE Shoulder Questionable for Week 6

The Bottom Line
The Titans will make a fight of this game, but in the end the Bengals have too much offensive pop for them. Look for Chad Johnson to have an especially stellar day against an overmatched secondary.
