Dez Bryant: Iím quicker, faster, stronger this year
Cowboys receiver Dez Bryant says that a full offseason working with the teamís strength and conditioning staff has him in much better shape this year than he was at the end of the lockout last year.
Bryant told the Dallas Morning News heís ďa lot strongerĒ than he was before, and that working with Cowboys strength coach Mike Woicik has made a big difference.
ďIt affected me big time,Ē Bryant said. ďI feel much quicker. Iím coming out of my breaks faster. I got in shape real quick. I know all the other guys have been going through the same workouts, so Iím pretty sure they feel the same exact way. I feel like the team is just really ready to go. Iím not going to predict anything, but I know for a fact that weíre ready to go.Ē
Bryant has said he was never at peak form last season after suffering a deep thigh bruise in Week One. This season he thinks heís better than ever.
