Impending

Next year I am going to join my high school freshman football team. I have never played in a league before. So i was wondering what position I should play. I'm 13 5'5 155 and not extremely fast but not slow. I'm strong and plan to workout more to strengthen my arms more. Thanks.

Did you ever think of playing RB or being more of an H-Back or TE?
Or if you like playing on the defensive side of the ball maybe a CB,SS,or FS?

I was thinking of maybe fullback if i did play offense but i would prefer defense

I'm not sure if your size is right for FB. If you play on JV then maybe but if you play Varsity it will be hard for you. I would stick to being a DB. When I think of a 5'5 155 dude thats fairly quick I think H-back or TE more of a H-Back. It all depends on you. I'm a sophomore right now but next year I'll be a junior I'm moving from DT to LT on the O-Line so changes can come whenever you feel ready for them.
