Sione Pouha launches “Life of a Lock Out” YouTube show

Jets defensive tackle Sione Pouha got a bright idea when fans kept asking him what he’s doing during the lockout: He’d answer the question with a series of YouTube videos that show exactly what he’s doing.
“Everybody was asking two general things: ‘What’s up with the lockout? What are you doing with no football?’” Pouha said. “I was kind of like a broken record. So, I thought to myself, ‘Dude, what am I doing? I can just show them.’”
So Pouha got some people to shoot video of his daily activities, and he’s planning to upload a new episode of what he’s calling Life of a Lock Out every other week on YouTube.
“I would call it a low-budget reality series,” Pouha said. “It’s not quite Keeping Up With The Kardashians. It’s the non-football life of a football player and what they do during the lockout.”
A four-minute preview is already up on Pouha’s YouTube channel, and the first full-length episode is supposed to go up tonight. Based on the preview, it appears that Life of a Lock Out is going to show that when there’s no football going on, football players’ lives are just as mundane as everyone else’s.
