You can think what you want but it isn't the WR's that are making Vick. It is the coaching that he has now. You might not be able to tell but go listen to all the experts who have actually played the game at a HOF level and they will explain it to you better than I can. The guy has learned how to play the position because of Reid. He is standing tall in the pocket and his body position and release is so much better because he is now being coached on how to be a QB.

Saints and Eagles NFC Championship Game 2010? I would like a crack at the ex-champs.

I for one am happy to see him doing this but I sure don't want the Saints to face him on a night like he had last night. He was just unstoppable. There are a few other QB's who can be unstoppable in the league, Manning, Brady, Brees and Rivers. These are the guys he will be going up against for MVP. If he keeps doing what he is doing then none of these guys will win it over him.

Also, if it was being the most important player on your team then Brees and Manning would win it every year. It has been shown that Cassell can play Brady like if need be. I don't know any other player who is as important to their teams besides Brees and Manning. This is not what the award is for.
That makes absolutely no sense at all and if that is the case it makes the MVP award pretty meaningless. How is a player most valuable to the LEAGUE? How does putting up a bunch of TDs mean you are the most valuable player for the LEAGUE? MVP should be rewarded to a the player who was the most valuable to his team's success, much like the superbowl mvp award. It isn't necessarly given to the player on either team who scores the most TDs, sometimes it is given to the player who is responsible for the most important play that helps their team win the game. That's how it should be. The MVP award as you describe it sounds stupid. If you are a QB you could easily get it by being on a team that likes to pass most of the time and has good receivers. Even if there is a much better player on a worse team who carries them to wins anyway. That isn't really fair if its based on who has the highest stats.

If its all Vick, then explain why Kolb was able to put up big numbers on that same offense. Geez that's why Reid traded McNabb in the first place. Kolb was able to play really well most of the time with the help of these receivers.

Ok that's it for me today.

And I predict MVP will go to Hillis or Brady.

I am not saying that the way they do it is right but this is how it is done most of the time. Also, the MVP award is pretty meaningless anyway. It is rarely ever given to a guy on a losing team. It doesn't matter if he is the best player, if his team doesn't have success then he will not win it. No it isn't fair and that is why it is basically meaningless.

It is because Reid knows how to groom a QB. I am not saying Kolb isn't good but he is no Vick. If you think it is the WR's then tell me what did Jackson do last night on the 88 yard TD? He ran fast, a simple post route that any guy could run, maybe not quiet as fast but the same result all the same. Vick had to pull off the play action pass roll out and launch the ball 65 yards, on the money and hit the guy in stride. Now you tell me who was more responsible for that play happening the way it did.

MuffinofDoom is right. It's most important to the team, not the best player period. That's what the OPOTY and DPOTY awards are for.

So if that is the case Peyton Manning and Brees should win it every year. Do you not think the Saints would be a 5-11 team without Drew Brees? How about Manning, what do you think the Colts would look like without him? Brady missed a year and Cassell did well so he isn't that important to his team. Name me some other players that are more important to their team than Brees and Manning.
