if nate clements keeps going at the rate he's going, this is goign to be a no-contest for him

/homer

but seriously,

he's cutting down the number of times he's burnt, and he's a very sure tackler, not to mention he makes a few game-changing interceptions a year

Champ Bailey and Donnie Abraham don't even belong on this list. Bailey was toasted all of last year and Abraham is old. McAlister is the best in the AFC right now, barely edging out Surtain.

Alot of votes for Surtain. I've been watching him since he came into the league and he's had ALOT of help on defense. He's not that good and he's going to struggle this year.

Houston, where he's probably the 3rd best CB.

yea he only got burnt twice last year from what I remember, once against jacksonville and once against Miami.

He can change the course of the game with his INTs though, and has become a very good tackler and cover corner. It has been great to see his growth on this team.

NOW ****ING RESIGN HIM!!

with the way that CB contracts have been going through the roof for second-tier talent (Ken Lucas, Anthony Henry come to mind)... we're pretty much ****ed after this year in terms of his contract
